Holidays Can Be Hard
Just as January 1st elicits hope in a new year, Advent, the begining of the liturgical year brings hope as we prepare to celebrate Jesus coming.
Most people are too overwhelmed & stressed out about shopping, decorating, gifts, wrapping, extra food, parties, family get togethers & cards to even think about taking time for themselves to prepare their hearts to celebrate Jesus’ birth.

Hello, I'm Julie!
I work with Christians looking to improve their health and live the happy, active, vibrant life they really want and God really wants for them by helping them pray often, eat well & move more.
Besides being a Registered Nurse, Health Coach & Creighton FertilityCare Practitioner, I’m a wife, mom & grandma too! I’m an avid fan of The Chosen & old school Star Wars. I spend as much time as possible outside in God’s creation, walking through the woods, watching the sun rise & set, and maintaining our acreage in rural Iowa.
I am active in my home parish, Holy Family Parish, as a lector, Extraordinary Minister of Communion, head up the Facebook live streaming for Sunday mass & special occasions, lead weekly bible study as well as help out with other projects & ministries. I am also a member of the Archdiocese of Dubuque IMPACT/Lay Formation Alumni Retreat team.
Journaling has been a big part of my own health and wellness journey, which is why I believe it’s a critical first step to getting you unstuck and back on track with your own health journey!
I’ve also found guided meditations as one of the best ways to quiet my body, mind & spirit. Allowing me to lower my stress, focus on what’s really important and strengthen my connection to God.
